Melissa is a freelance reporter for The Canarsie Courier, Kings County Politics, Creative Director for Preferred Health Magazine, Senior Editor at Pet Lifestyles Magazine, a published poet, and a contributing writer for New York City’s Millennium Magazine.
Before she became an author, she was on her way to seek after a vocation in law enforcement as she holds a degree in Criminal Science, yet life continued on an alternate route. To this day, Melissa has interviewed the most influential people, such as Dr. Deepak Chopra, Fran Drescher, Susan Lucci, Heather Graham, Chazz Palminteri, Judge Marilyn Milian, and Judge Jerry Springer to name a few.
